Najia Zarif

Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Najia (pronounced "naa-gee-a") speaks three languages. Najia is fluent in Spanish and speaks Pashto and Farsi as a result of her Middle Eastern heritage. Najia has more than four years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. She is knowledgeable on a variety of fields of law including estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax, family and elderly law. Prior to her employment here, Najia worked for a law firm in Barcelona, Spain, where she learned international business and trade law.
Najia is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York. She received her bachelor's degree in International Studies & Economics with a minor in Spanish, from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois where she grew up. Najia looks forward to sitting for the California bar examination and becoming a licensed California attorney.
She is the oldest of four sisters and is the proud aunt of her new baby niece, Ariana. Najia is an avid sports fan of every competitive sport, both on the college and professional levels. In her free time, Najia is a fitness and spinning instructor at local San Diego gyms. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family, friends and her dog, Nick.
