Conor Hulburt is committed to helping his clients obtain the compensation they deserve so they can move forward with their lives. With nearly a decade of experience representing individuals and businesses in cases involving major personal injury, wrongful death, product defect, bad faith, and business disputes, his mission is to provide the best legal representation in San Diego. He spent the first part of his career representing defendants, affording him an inside understanding of the insurance defense mindset.
His compassion for people and a desire to make a difference in their lives led him to represent plaintiffs. He has successfully resolved countless cases in settlement, trial and appeal. In 2015 and 2016, he was recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as the “Best of the Bar” in personal injury.
Conor always takes a trial-focused approach. By focusing on presenting his case to a jury from the outset, he streamlines the discovery process, maintains a superior negotiation position, and ensures he is eminently prepared for trial. As a longtime competitive athlete, including basketball and triathlon, he understands that success requires preparation, execution, and teamwork. When it comes to injury cases, success requires a fourth element too: empathy. Conor has a big heart. One of his favorite parts of the job is getting to know his clients. By stepping into his clients’ shoes, he can tell their most authentic, compelling story to the jury.
Conor is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association Civil Litigation section leadership, and the founder of SDCBA WetSuits, a group of surfing lawyers. He volunteers with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, handling issues ranging from employment to property disputes. Outside the law, Conor enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, surfing, mountain biking, and honing his storytelling skills at the local toastmasters.
